The human being is connected to the self in thirty-three ways. We have to overcome this self through our I. This self is anchored in the human body in the 33 currents in the spinal cord.

Dreiundreißigfach ist der Mensch mit der Selbstheit verknüpft. Diese Selbstheit, wir müssen sie durch unser Ich überwinden. Verankert ist diese Selbstheit im menschlichen Leibe in den 33 Strömen im Rückenmark.
Der Scher sieht, wie vom Ätherleib und Astralleib flutende Ströme ausgehen, die dann sich ausdrücken können in den Bewegungen der Gliedmaßen, die halb zurückgehalten werden in den Sprachorganen, im Kehlkopf und da den Laut bilden und dann starr zurückgehalten werden im Kopf des Menschen, Gehirn und Schädeldecke, Gehirnlappen. Das Gehirn, die Symbole dafür in der Loge ...
Mit der linken Hand beginnend: I - ein nach außen Streben. Der Laut I - rechtes Auge ins Unbestimmte richten.
Strecken = A - Beide Augen ins Unendliche.
Umschließen = O - Fest auf einen bestimmten Punkt sehen. Kreuzen = E - Rechte Hand über die linke legen, auch die Füße ebenso, den rechten Fuß über den linken kreuzen - so, wie die Sehnerven im menschlichen Haupte gekreuzt sind.
Hohle Hand = AO - Im Halbkreis den Körper beugen. Faust oder fest fassen = U
Ihr sollt die Bewegungen nicht ausführen, sondern die Bewegung hemmen, die Gliedmaßen fest an den Leib pressen, aber dasselbe fühlen, wie wenn Ihr die Bewegungen ausführen würdet.
Wir sind selbst das verloren gegangene Schöpfungswort. Das heilige Wort ist nur im Zeichen zu gebrauchen.
Wo stehen wir? Im Zeichen der Vier.
Nenne die Vier: Erde, Wasse, Luft, Feuer.

Ihr seid alle halbe Menschen, den anderen Menschen, der zu Euch gehört, den sollt Ihr ausbilden durch die Übungen, die Euch gegeben sind, allmählich, das ist die Aufgabe.

Dafür ist die Aufgabe: sechs, bis acht, bis zehn und mehr Wochen im Jahr ganz ausschalten in Worten und Gedanken das Ich. Wenn Ihr das vollbringt, dann erst werdet Ihr das alles verstehen.
Be Zu den Ausführungen über die Vier gehört noch Folgendes:
Die Vier versteht man auch unter den vier Sätzen, die immer in der Loge gesprochen werden und die wir kennen: 1913
Lerne schweigen und dir wird die Macht.
Begib dich der Macht und dir wird das Wollen. Begib dich des Wollens und dir wird das Fühlen. Begib dich des Fühlens und dir wird Erkenntnis.
Die Vier ergänzt zu der Sieben: Salz Schwefel Merkur
Nun wird zerlegt das heilige Wort wieder in die Vier;
Erde Wasser Luft Feuer
Gnomen Nixen [Sylphen] Salamander
Die eine Säule ist die Sonne, die andere der Mond; beide ergeben die Erde.
