The pentagram is the archetype that man has drawn into salt, into the earth. The pentagram must be closed everywhere. We have three: salt, smoke, and mercury or sulfur.

Das Pentagramm ist die Urform, die der Mensch hineingezeichnet hat in Salz, in die Erde. Überall geschlossen muss das Pentagramm sein. Dreierlei haben wir: Salz, Rauch, Quecksilber oder Schwefel.
