Dear and esteemed teacher,
I am writing this letter as a warm and best greeting for the 27th, with my very best wishes for you.
Here the work is progressing, everything is in order again in the large studio, and Lucifer and the creature look really quite beautiful when viewed from the floor, although they are of course too far away in perspective. The workers are in the second studio today, and I am dealing with the casting of plaques for the time being.
It won't be until next week before they can move into the small houses, the workers are not yet ready.
When do you think you will come here again? Will you be here Sunday in 8 days? So far no one has received any news from Holland, I very much hope that the work there has been quite successful.
I am now recovering and feeling better.
I hope you have not caught a cold?

Sehr verehrter lieber Lehrer,
ich schreibe diesen Brief als herzliche und beste Gruß-Sendung für den 27., alles Gute wünsche ich Ihnen.
Hier geht die Arbeit vorwärts, in dem großen Atelier ist alles jetzt wieder in Ordnung, und Luc[ifer] und das Wesen sehen wirklich recht schön aus vom Boden unten gesehen, obwohl sie natürlich zu sehr in Perspektive sind. In dem zweiten Atelier sind heute die Arbeiter, und ich beschäftige mich vorläufig mit dem Gießen von Plaketten.
Es wird erst nächste Woche werden, bevor man einziehen kann in die kleinen Häuser, die Arbeiter sind noch nicht fertig.
Wann denken Sie wieder hierher zu kommen? Werden Sie hier sein Sonntag in 8 Tagen? Bis jetzt hat niemand Nachricht aus Holland bekommen, ich hoffe sehr, daß die Arbeit dort recht erfreulichen Erfolg hat.
Mit der Gesundung geht es jetzt besser.
Ich hoffe, Sie haben sich nicht erkälter?
