Did you receive my letter in Bern? One has been sent there. Today I received something addressed “To the General Secretary of the German Section” in England. I opened it, and it needs answering. She has of course noticed in the 'Theosophist' that she is supposed to have said that H.P.B. had written that the Christ would not return in the flesh. She denies having said it and wants to know where it says that. This is another example of the consequences of Mrs. Besant's complete lack of sense of responsibility. Much love from M.
Mieta W.[aller] also writes murder stories about the Schraudolfstr. affairs.33In Schraudolfstraße in Munich, Harriet v. Vacano ran a vegetarian boarding house from around 1906 until the end of 1912.

Hast Du meinen Brief in Bern erhalten? Dahin ist einer gesandt worden. Heute kam etwas «To the General Secretary of the German Section» aus England. Was ich öffnete -— und beantworten muss. Es ist ihr natürlich aufgefallen im «Theosophist», dass sie gesagt haben soll: H.P.B. hätte geschrieben, dass der Christus im Fleische nicht wiederkommen würde. Sie verneint, dass sie es gesagt hat, und möchte wissen, wo das steht. Das ist wieder so ein Beispiel der Folgen von Mrs. Besant’s gänzlichem Mangel an Verantwortlichkeitsgefühl.
